Hello all,
This is Phil Koo, I thought it would be fun to finally create my own blog about my love and interest for the great art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu!(BJJ). There are so many good BJJ websites and blogs out there, this will be my small and humble contribution to the BJJ community.

I have been very fortuante to travel to and train at all these great BJJ schools and I am looking forward to another great year traveling and training in BJJ. My journey to becoming a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black belt and to become a BJJ World Champion!
My focus now as a new purple belt will be to refine my already existing techniques and to really focus on the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu, of going back to the basics to master them.
I would like to thank my instructor and mentor Professor Larry Shealy and to all my training partners and to my God and savior Lord Jesus Christ for blessing me with this great life.
